This option requires a Practicum that can be completed at your current health and human services-related workplace or at an approved agency. No matter which option you choose, advisers are available to help you stay on track.

Can I transfer credits from another university and graduate program?
You may transfer a maximum of six semester credits earned before admittance upon recommendation of the program director and with the approval of the dean. Your transfer credits are subject to both graduate school and programmatic criteria.

Is there a campus residency requirement, or is the program entirely online?
The program is fully online. You do not need to attend Saint Mary’s ground campuses. There is an optional practicum required for students pursuing licensure that awards credit for work or volunteer experience during the program. You may be able to complete the practicum at your current healthcare or human services-related workplace determined by your state’s licensing board, or you can log volunteer hours at a similar organization.
