Margi Sirovatka, M.A.

Margi is an instructor for Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota’s Master of Arts in International Development Program. Following 30 years in international banking as an executive director and several years as associate director of a Catholic lay missionary program, she enjoys using her previous skills and Catholic faith to explore global perspectives. Her professional experiences include living in and travelling to Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and North Africa as an international trade advisor.

Her interest in developing global economies and resource stewardship led to her consultancy for a large microfinance institution in Tunisia and her teaching a course on international trade for a university in Haiti.

She received her B.A. degree in International Business and M.A. in French Literature from Dominican University; her M.B.A. from DePaul University; and a graduate certificate in Pastoral Studies from Catholic Theological Union.
