Our faculty members are accomplished practitioners in the field of accounting. All have earned a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant certification (CMA), and have been selected for their combination of educational and professional experience and expertise.

Program Director

    Melanie Torborg is a Certified Management Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in corporate accounting. Her favorite areas of accounting are budgeting, strategic planning, and financial statement analysis.

Faculty

  • Adjunct Instructor

    Lynn Danko is a finance leader with more than 20 years of experience. She began her career in public accounting with KPMG, where she worked for almost nine years and obtained her CPA certificate.

    Barbara Doyle is a practitioner in finance, accounting, and communications. Since 2011, she has been Vice President of Investor Relations at Itron, Inc., a $2 billion smart grid equipment and technology provider headquartered in Spokane, Wash.

    Walter is president of Jungbauer Consulting and provides interim or contract CFO services to the company’s clients.

    Beverly Kile's professional experience involves working in the accounting/tax/consulting areas.

    Ron graduated from the University of Michigan when Bo Schlembechler was still coaching football there. While at school he programmed computer graphics on an IBM-360. It was the size of a house and used punch cards as input!

    Ann Van Diest is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) with a B.A. in Economics from Saint Olaf College and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Saint Thomas.

    Bob received his B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. with an emphasis in Accounting from Minnesota State University - Mankato and has been a licensed CPA in Minnesota since 1973.

    Steve’s professional career began in public accounting. He then moved into industry accounting at Ameriprise, where he worked in Accounting Policies and Procedures, Corporate Consolidations, and the Treasury Department.
