Saint Mary’s University Of Minnesota Launches New Online Master Of Arts In Educational Leadership

Minneapolis, MN (October 30, 2013) - In response to high demand for trained educational leaders in early childhood, K-12, higher education, and corporate training environments, Saint Mary's University of Minnesota today announced the launch of its online Master of Arts in Educational Leadership program. This program gives students anywhere in the world the opportunity to access Saint Mary's advanced leadership training and discover the many ways educational leadership can help them achieve fulfilling and rewarding career goals.

"What's unique about this online degree program is its wide application across many different sectors of the economy," said Rebecca Hopkins, Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Saint Mary's. "This is an ideal degree for education professionals who aspire to school leadership positions or pursue opportunities in higher education, as well as for educational leadership opportunities within many other in-demand industries,” said Dean Hopkins.

Master of Arts in Educational Leadership coursework will be delivered via the Internet and through Saint Mary's custom iPad coursework app. The app provides online students the opportunity to complete assignments, compile research and collaborate and communicate with professors and fellow learners in ways never before possible with virtual education. Every online Master of Arts in Educational Leadership student will be issued an iPad and provided with the app (included in tuition).

Applications for admission into the new online Master of Arts in Educational Leadership program are being accepted now with online courses set to begin in January 2014.
