Jean Cole, M.A., is a licensed nursing home administrator with 26 years of operations experience in post-acute care to include skilled nursing, homecare, and senior housing-with-services. She has held professional leadership positions for both for-profit and non-profit health care organizations.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in Healthcare Administration, and a Master of Arts in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Jean currently serves as a Regional Director of Operations for The Goodman Group, a healthcare management company, where she supports senior living communities in both Minnesota and South Dakota. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct instructor for the Master of Arts in Health and Human Services Administration, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota School of Graduate and Professional Programs. Her courses have included Policy for Human Services, Health and Human Service Administration, and Health and Human Service Systems. At the University of Minnesota, Jean has had the opportunity to serve as a guest speaker and an adjunct faculty member.
Over the years, Jean has enjoyed the opportunity to serve as a preceptor for practicum students seeking nursing home licensure. She has held various community Board and Committee roles, served as a Mentor to new Administrators in Leading Age of Minnesota’s Mentor Connector Program, and currently is a member of Care Providers of Minnesota.
Jean and her husband enjoy traveling, golfing, reading, and spending time with their four child and extended family members.
