Jeffrey Eng is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Legal Affairs for HRH Global Connections, LLC (HRHGC), a management consulting firm that helps its clients develop markets and grow revenue through strategy implementation and global relationships. In this senior executive role, he is responsible for developing, managing and executing the strategy on behalf of HRHGC. In addition, Mr. Eng shares his expertise in strategy development with HRHGC clients on a consulting basis.
Prior to joining HRHGC, Mr. Eng was the founder of Kellan Grace Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in creating strategies and engaging in business development for startup and growth-stage companies. Through that initiative, he has been able to focus on companies that share his passion for innovation, learning, and entrepreneurship.
During his professional career, Mr. Eng also served as vice president and lead counsel for Transamerica Retirement Management, Inc., a division of Transamerica Life Insurance Company, working on product development, sales and marketing, compliance, and legal issues. As the lead attorney for the Medical Services Division of the St. Paul Companies, Mr. Eng’s expertise centered around the underwriting and sales of medical professional liability insurance and served as the government affairs attorney representing the company in five key states.
Throughout his career, Mr. Eng has donated his time and energies to numerous community and professional organizations, including leadership positions in the Organization of Chinese Americans, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Mr. Eng obtained his M.B.A. at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis and his law degree from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Eng graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.B.A. degree in finance and international business. He is currently pursuing his DBA at a local university and is an adjunct professor for management, organizational development, leadership, and law courses for several local colleges and universities.
