Dr. Rob Koonce served as the director of continuing legal education and professional development for a state organization for the past nine years. He has taught online part-time for the past five years and recently embarked on a full-time journey of teaching, writing, and research while pursuing a long-term entrepreneurial passion of improving leader-follower relations in a wide variety of organizational settings.
Over the past three decades, his professional life has included serving as a marketing consultant, as the chief executive of a small business, and as a medical researcher and educational trainer of physicians and medical students in pediatric metabolism. In these capacities, he has worked with a wide variety of companies ranging in size from multinational corporations to small businesses across multiple industries. He has also published on the subjects of emotional intelligence and metabolic disease and has delivered presentations on subjects ranging from business strategy to organizational leadership at various venues throughout the world.
Rob’s doctorate is in organizational leadership. His graduate studies also include a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and a Master of Arts in Organizational Learning and Instructional Technologies. His undergraduate degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Psychology.
