Renee L. Thompson, MBA, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is currently, a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Renee has been an Assistant Professor in the Master of Accountancy and Master of Business Administration at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota over a year and has taught graduate Master of Accountancy courses - Taxation and Business Decision ACCT 670A, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Analysis ACCT 650, and Strategic Management Accounting ACCT 660. Undergraduate Level- Cost Accounting AC315A. She also taught part time for four years at Argosy University which included Graduate Level- Managerial Accounting B6021, Financial Accounting B6022 & Accounting & Finance for Manager Health Care HM6020, Accounting Practices for Managers MS6010. Renee is a Senior Accounting Analysts at United Natural Foods INC (UNFI). She has served as a director on multiple non-profit boards organization for over 15 years such as Hope For The Child, Hope Center, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Alumni, The Lonsdale Crawl, and Tri City United Booster Club. She has over 25 years of real-world accounting experience in corporate and not for profit entities.
