Cathy Bartholet, PMP, is an experienced project leader and educator. She brings over 25 years’ experience as a project, senior project, and program manager and over 12 years as an instructor. Cathy has worked in telecommunications, health care, financial services, publishing, and non-profit industries. She has worked on business and technology projects. She has also developed and taught courses through three universities, one community college, and several non-profit organizations.
Cathy received her B.S. in Organizational Training and Development from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and her M.A. in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University. She is also a certified life coach through the Adler Graduate School in Minneapolis, Minn.
Cathy has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute since 1996. She joined the PMI-MN Chapter in 1994 and has been an active volunteer within this organization. She joined the operations team in 2009 as chair for the Community Outreach Committee. In 2010, she was elected to the Board of Directors as Director for Community Outreach, then in 2011 Cathy was President-Elect, 2012 President, and in 2013 she is Past President. In 2012 Cathy was presented with the prestigious award of Chapter Colleague 2012 as a result of her dedication towards educating, practicing, mentoring, and community service in order to grow and improve the field of project management.
