Mary Dunphy is a professor in the Project Management program, MBA, and Cybersecurity programs since 2005. She also has several years of online and blended teaching experience from other universities.
Dunphy became Managing Consultant to Energy & Utility entity in April 2020, as well as a research scientist and blog editor for a California company. Prior to that, she was the Change Management Leader for the technical imperatives initiative for the 5th largest bank in the world at their Manhattan headquarters. Oher roles include Interim Risk and Enterprise Architecture Manager for large consumer packaged goods company, as well as Program Manager for Google's vendor solutions team. She also served as Chief Technology Officer for a security company in Minneapolis whose clients included government agencies, large banks, airports, and large retail corporations where she worked on many complex IT projects involving product development and process improvement, as well as building out a professional services consulting arm.
Dunphy is PMP certified through the Project Management Institute and continues to stay current in project management by consulting project managers through larger, more complex projects. She holds many technical certifications including SABSA for Cybersecurity Architecture. Student success is her number one goal as she strives to provide a quality education in a flexible manner to meet the needs of each individual student.
