Christopher Kissell is a healthcare practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility. In his current position as director of clinical quality programs for University of Minnesota Health, he assists leadership in the development and delivery of the electronic media record (EMR) program, directs implementation of performance-improvement methodologies, and provides strategic oversight for other quality-improvement initiatives.

His nursing experience has also included positions as a patient care manager for Allina Health and as a senior product manager and clinic manager for University of Minnesota Physicians. He began his career at Abbott Northwestern as an EMT before moving into RN and then assistant patient care manager roles.

Christopher holds an MBA from the Minnesota School of Business/Globe University, a BSN from the College of St. Catherine’s, and a B.A. in physiology from the University of Minnesota.
