Ilana Farb brings nearly 15 years of experience in the nursing field to her role on Saint Mary’s nursing faculty. She currently serves as a women’s health nurse practitioner at the Annex Teen Clinic, where her work includes well-woman checks and providing young women and men with birth control options and sexual health screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
Her previous nursing experience has included more than six years as an RN for Infectious Diseases Minneapolis, work as a congregational nurse for B’nai Emet Synagogue, and a role as a nurse paralegal for a law firm. Ilana is licensed as an APRN, school nurse, public health nurse, and RN in the state of Minnesota.
Ilana earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis in adult and women’s health from the University of Minnesota in 2013. She earned her RN to BS and her A.S. in Nursing from St. Catherine University. Ilana also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Jewish Studies from Indiana University – Bloomington.
