You may apply for admission to Saint Mary’s online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program at any time. After you are admitted, you may begin taking online classes at the start of any semester: Spring, Summer, or Fall.
How long does the program take?
To earn your online RN to BSN degree, you will complete 36 credit hours of program work. This is an accelerated nursing program, which means you’ll be able to complete your coursework and your degree in one year. However, students admitted into the program with fewer than 86 transfer credits or are missing general education courses will need to complete any missing credits/courses throughout their RN-BSN program in order to take Capstone and graduate.
What are the admissions requirements?
Students must possess an unencumbered registered nurse license in a U.S. state and an associate’s degree in nursing with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must have also completed a basic English composition course.

Is there a campus residency requirement, or is the program entirely online?
The program is completely online, with the exception of your capstone practicum project. You do not need to attend Saint Mary’s ground campuses. You may complete your capstone project in an approved care setting of your choice in your community.
Will I be required to attend online classes during set times?
No. As long as you submit your assignments by the time they are due, you can work and study when it is most convenient to you.
I don't have an iPad. Is one required to pursue this degree?
All coursework can be completed through Saint Mary’s interactive website, but every online Saint Mary's University student is also issued his or her own iPad. You will then have the world's most innovative online learning experience literally at your fingertips.

No, these are instructor-led courses. While there are no set class times, there are assignments with set due dates.
