Gina Threinen is a strategic leader with 17 years of corporate experience in digital marketing, data, analytics, technology, product management, and consulting.

Professor Threinen currently works for Optum (part of UnitedHealth Group), helping to create new data science products for data scientists. Prior to that, she served as director of analytics for UnitedHealthcare, where she led a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights to their customers using multiple sources of data.

Throughout her career, Professor Threinen has focused on using data to inform marketing and business decisions in order to grow business and support teams in seeing the best return for their investments. She is passionate about helping others learn how to tell a story from their data.

Gina earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and her M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas.
