Virginia has 40 years of healthcare experience ranging from bedside care as a R.N. to administration. This experience has spanned the continuum of patient care (e.g. Acute care, ambulatory, residential, addictions, home health and hospice). In each of these experiences, she has learned about the intricacies of health care and the importance of having sound infrastructure and care systems that meet the needs of patients and their families in their health care journeys.
She has been a life long learner with my academic career culminating in a Doctoral degree in Health Administration (DHA) from Central Michigan University in May of 2016. She is also a graduate of St. Mary's Master of Arts in Health and Human Services Administration program.
In 2017, she joined Saint Mary’s University as an adjunct faculty member so that so that she could continue her passion for learning.
